GÜAJIRO (pronounced “War Hero” in Gringo...) are a Hialeah, Florida based rock band, comprised of “exilios” from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Long Beach. Each member comes to the table with a dream of recreating the music they left behind in their former projects, such as IGNITE, SLAPSHOT, SPEAK 714, and FRICTION WHEEL. A combination of classic rock, late ’70s English punk and 80’s Latin rock, GÜAJIRO hopes to bring back the energy and soul that has been lost to major label executive influence and heavy handed production. GÜAJIRO’s aspirations are to create creditable albums that will stand the test of time and build a loyal fan base that is looking for honest, straight to the point music.
